Services Provided by the Department

Security Systems’ Department provides several services to implement the law number (9) related to organization of cameras and security surveillance systems. These services vary according to every sections duties, which can be classified as follows:

• Issuing licenses for security surveillance systems and devices after confirming its conformity by Inspections’ Section.
• Issuing conformity certificates for cameras and security surveillance devices  and installation places after installation.
• Preparation and deciding on bids related to installation projects for cameras and security surveillance devices, in coordination with competent bodies.
• Issuing licenses for importing cameras and security surveillance devices.
