The State of Qatar participated in the 39th Meeting of the Airport Security Officials Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, held via video conference.

The Ministry of Interior was represented at the meeting by Lieutenant Colonel Zayed Rashid Al Naimi, Assistant Director of the Airport Security Department. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation among GCC member states in the field of airport security, reviewed security best practices, and promoted the exchange of expertise.
