Qatar participated in the second meeting of the Committee for Following Up on the Implementation of the Gulf Security Strategy to Combat Money Laundering 2026–2030, held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Riyadh.

The Ministry of Interior delegation was headed by Staff Colonel  Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Thani, Assistant Director of the Economic and Cyber Crimes Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigation.

The meeting discussed the implementation plan for the strategy’s objectives, particularly in the areas of legislation and security policies, joint security operations, cooperation and coordination, and training and capacity building.
