The Permanent Committee for Correctional and Penal Institutions organized an awareness lecture at the Al Thakhira Youth Center, in cooperation with the Youth Centers Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The lecture targeted a number of youth center members and was held as part of the “Aware Generation” program, conducted under the committee’s supervision to raise awareness among young people about the risks of committing crimes and ways to prevent them.

The lecture was delivered by Major Bakhit Abdullah Al-Buraidi, Assistant Secretary of the Permanent Committee for Correctional and Penal Institutions. It addressed several awareness-raising topics aimed at fostering a conscious and well-informed generation capable of shouldering social responsibility. It also highlighted the importance of choosing good company and the need to instill positive behaviors among young people.
