The Permanent Committee for the Management of Seaports honored a number of personnel from the Animal Resources Department in recognition of their outstanding efforts in carrying out inspection and field duties.

Major General Dr. Abdulhadi Mohammed Al Dosari, Chairman of the Permanent Committee for the Management of Seaports and Director of the Seaport Security Department at the Ministry of Interior, honored Engineer Abdulaziz Mahmoud Al Ziyara, Director of the Animal Resources Department and a member of the committee, as well as Dr. Hadi Bakmaji. He commended their role in detecting a shipment of livestock infected with a contagious disease and taking the necessary measures, which contributed to safeguarding public health and reducing potential risks.

This recognition comes in appreciation of their efforts and as an encouragement for them to continue their excellence in performing regulatory and inspection duties.
