Participants in Securing 4th Gulf Games (Doha 2026) Honoured
The Establishment and Authorities Security Department organized an honoring ceremony for the participants involved in securing the 4th Gulf Games (Doha 2026), which was hosted by the State of Qatar from May 11 to 22, 2026.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Khalifa bin Khalid Al Thani, Director General of the tournament's organizing committee; Major General Hamad Osman Al Dehaimi, Director General of Civil Defence; Staff Brigadier Khaled bin Ahmed Al Thani, Director of the Establishment and Authorities Security Department; and Major Saeed Juma Al Hitmi, Chairman of the Security Committee for the tournament. Also in attendance were a number of officers, representatives of security agencies, and several athletes from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
The event featured the screening of a documentary film highlighting the key security and organizational efforts during the tournament. Additionally, departments of the Ministry of Interior, security agencies, and participating officers were honored in recognition of their contributions to executing security tasks. These efforts contributed to the success of the tournament and reflected the competence and expertise of the State of Qatar in organizing and securing major sporting events in accordance with the highest standards of security and safety.
