Emergency Services Section has a large cadre of militants (Officers, Noncommissioned Officers and personnel) and civilian cadre of male and female employees including Translators of several languages such as English, French, Chinese, Filipino, Urdu, during 24 hours a day in shifts.
Nature and Scope of Work :
- Receive complaints and different emergency and criminal calls.
- Receive emergency calls (fire).
- Receive emergency calls (call for an ambulance).
- Monitor alarm systems.
- Redirect incoming calls reporting accidents to the competent authorities.
Emergency Section uses modern communication, command and control system called C4I.
It is divided into three basic systems:

Electronic Incidents Listing System (EILS) and Resource Management System (RMS) |
It is a system for writing data through the information. The Data has preset questions in the program for the employee as per the incident. When it is done, the system directs it electronically to the competent authority. |

Call Communication System (ICCS) |
It is a voice call system used by the call recipient to receive emergency calls on (999). |

Geographic Information System (GIS) |
It is a system for specifying geographical locations of events in the State. |
Emergency Services Section consists of 24 Emergency capsules. The system can receive 60 emergency calls concurrently. Number of emergency incoming calls varies between 5000-7000 calls 24 hours a day.
