Verdict Execution Department

Verdicts Execution Department was established as per the Decree of Minister of State for Interior Affairs Decree No. (33) of 2011  to take over the follow-up and implementation of all convictions and orders from the general and special prosecutions in criminal cases and in coordination with the concerned departments. Branches of the Department were established in accordance with the mechanism set out in Article 5 of the Decree of the Minister of State for Interior Affairs (1) for the year 2004. As well branches of the Department was set up in all security departments spread across the country.

Verdicts Executions Department works under General Directorate of Public Security.
