In the framework of enhancing joint cooperation and coordination in civil defense fields, the committee specialized in activating the civil defense cooperation agreement between the government of the State of Qatar and the government of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held its first meeting in Riyadh.
The Qatari delegation was headed by Major General Hamad Othman Al-Duhaimi, Director General of Civil Defense, while the Saudi delegation was headed by Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Sulaiman Al-Faraj, Director General of Civil Defense.
The meeting discussed the items on the agenda and adopted appropriate recommendations regarding them, aiming to enhance readiness levels, improve field work efficiency, support the exchange of expertise, and develop emergency response mechanisms.
