Delegation from Sustainable Development Goals Ambassadors Center Visits NCC
Major General Ali Mohammed Al-Mohannadi, Head of the National Command Center (NCC), received a delegation from the Sustainable Development Goals Ambassadors Center in the State of Qatar, headed by Executive Director Iman Al-Obaidli. The visit comes as part of introducing the initiative's goals, programs, and activities, and reflects the center's keenness to enhance communication with various national institutions and initiatives in a way that contributes to consolidating a culture of societal awareness.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of the Center welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing his appreciation for the initiative's efforts and its role in promoting sustainable development. He stated that such visits and meetings are of great importance in raising awareness and encouraging activities and initiatives that serve the community.
During the meeting, the Executive Director delivered a comprehensive introductory presentation on the Sustainable Development Goals Ambassadors initiative. The meeting also addressed a number of topics related to institutional cooperation and communication, and the importance of strengthening community partnerships to support and consolidate awareness.
The visit featured an introductory lecture on the competencies and duties of the center, delivered by Major Hamoud Mutairan Al-Shammari, Head of the Training and Qualification Section, during which he discussed the nature of the work undertaken by the center.
In conclusion, the members of the delegation expressed their appreciation for the pivotal role of the National Command Center in supporting security and safety efforts and emergency response in the state. They also praised the outcomes of the visit through learning about the advanced mechanisms used in operations management and rapid response.
