The State of Qatar participated in the proceedings of the Ninth Arab Conference of Directors of Nationality and Civil Status Departments, held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in the Republic of Tunisia.

The Ministry of Interior delegation was headed by Major General Hamad Abdulwahab Al Mutawa, Director of the Nationality and Travel Documents Department. The conference discussed a number of items on its agenda and adopted the appropriate recommendations.
